iVentiv Summits are unique. Our Summits draw upon best practices from traditional conference formats, classroom teaching, networking activities and the latest technologies. iVentiv then combines these delivery formats to create a truly blended learning environment we like to call Summit 2.0TM.
Through utilising the latest interactive and social software and developing new event sessions such as our open / roaming microphone discussions we have been able to create a new generation of interactive and immersive events for the 21st Century where delegates participate. There is a key focus on ‘learning by doing’ at iVentiv Summit 2.0's and this process begins prior to the event thanks to the online networking activities and our unique WikiAgendaTM (see below).
Wiki’s, Blogs, Podcasts and Forums are utilised to build pre-event content and to discover the core interests of the participants. This information is then utilised to shape the content, structure and direction of the Summit 2.0. The agenda for an iVentiv Summit 2.0 is, in part, designed as a WikiAgenda, so participants can make direct modifications and submissions which will be subject to peer review.
iVentiv Summit 2.0's are designed to fill the participant's skills and knowledge gaps through the combined knowledge of the presenters, tutors, facilitators and other participants. Through identifying the knowledge gaps of the participants and by customising the event through the WikiAgenda, iVentiv Summit 2.0's ensure the most relevant learning, connecting and developing can take place.
