Russell Butler

Chief Executive Officer, iVentiv

Russell is an events management specialist with expertise in Global Human Resources. In 2008 Russell founded iVentiv to develop an innovative new event model to reflect the evolving needs of today’s executive. Just three years later iVentiv has established a firm support base amongst the most influential HR figures across Europe and the business is also expanding into the USA.

Within the space of just three years Russell has successfully lead iVentiv through successful events in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, UK and the USA. With almost half of the Fortune Global 100 companies joining these exchanges Russell has shown an exemplary ability to attract the most influential companies to engage in the iVentiv exchanges. He has also lead the acquisition of an excellent sponsorship base which includes global leaders in multinational L&D such as Oxford: Saïd Business School, CERTPOINT Systems, Cambridge: Judge Business School, HEC Paris, LINE Communications and IESE Business School amongst others. He proudly claims that iVentiv is yet to lose a sponsor.

Prior to establishing iVentiv, Russell had worked for and with multinational businesses, SME’s and start-up businesses. In his past roles Russell has successfully developed, marketed and sold immersive learning technologies, knowledge management software and international event services. Academically, Russell holds a MA Management and has achieved the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s highest professional qualification (Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing).

When he has spare time Russell enjoys travelling (having visited over 55 countries), playing football (several times a week) and enjoys diving (PADI diving instructor). 

Susan Mc Lernon

Global Sales Director, iVentiv

Susan is an enthusiastic and task focussed business development professional with a consummate sales record. Susan has excellent interpersonal skills and has developed a fantastic ability to manage a successful team to surpass corporate goals. With an international perspective and the ability to bridge the communications gaps between all stakeholders, Susan has become an integral element in the successes of her past and current employers.

Amongst Susan’s past roles she was National Sales Manager for Ecolab Healthcare Ireland, where she was responsible for the management and development of a multimillion Euro sales pipeline. Her sales and account management record is exemplary and she brings these skills to iVentiv in the role of Global Sales Director. In this position Susan is responsible for managing the delegate and sponsorship acquisition side of the business across Europe and the USA.

In her spare time Susan is a horse riding enthusiast, enjoys cooking, travelling, music and the theatre.

Felicity Brown

Global Events Manager, iVentiv

With experience in the banking and financial services industries including administrative positions at Abbey National and HB&O (Chartered Accountants), Felicity has developed the key skills required of an Events Manager. In her past roles Felicity was responsible for managing all external events including Corporate Golf Days, Client Seminars and in-house training courses which provided her with event management and client experience. Academically, Felicity has secured further education qualifications in the areas of business administration and marketing.

Within iVentiv Felicity is responsible for coordinating a suite of international HR Learning events. This responsibility includes liaising with the event speakers, participants and sponsors before, during and after the events to ensure the whole process runs smoothly. With steadily increasing event feedback scores Felicity has proven herself to be a valuable addition to the iVentiv team.

When not at work Felicity still enjoys events of a different type – concerts, gigs and festivals are all part of her busy lifestyle.

Ryan Butler

IT Manager, iVentiv

Ryan is passionate about Information Technology and spends his time working out the ways in which IT can most effectively drive company performance. With an exceptional understanding of the challenges faced by SME’s Ryan then utilises this knowledge to harness the potential of new technologies and increasingly the capabilities offered by cloud computing to deliver ‘big company’ solutions to smaller businesses. Within iVentiv Ryan is responsible for all technology related systems such as the iVentiv website, 121 meeting schedulers, event AV setup and all computing needs.

Outside of his work at iVentiv Ryan is the founder of Network Ltd, an IT Support and Information Systems company. With a solid background in information technology, Ryan has steered the development of Network over the past decade and is now leading the development of the company’s core software. Ryan gained a Master of Enterprise (MEnt) in Computer Science and Enterprise from the University of Manchester and UMIST in 2002. Before this he received a BSc in Computer Science and an HND in Financial Services. In addition to his experience in starting-up Network Ltd, Ryan has technical sales experience.
