iVentiv's 3rd Talent Management, Executive Knowledge Exchange took place in Brussels on the 6th-7th February 2012.  Around the iVentiv 'hollow-square' we had Group Talent Management Heads from Carrefour, Panasonic, Volvo Cars, Media Saturn, Bekaert, TNT Bertelsmann and TJX amongst others.  A group which was perfectly aligned to discuss global challenges and opportunities in Talent Management.

Event Chairman Geoff Glover (VP HR at Volvo Cars) opened the session with a collaborative, roundtable look at Talent Management in 2012 and an assessment of key priorities around the table.  Geoff was followed by Elie Matta of HEC Paris (an annual sponsor of iVentiv) who took us through an excellent session on "Battling Myopia & Maintaining Resilience".

Following a lively lunch discussion the Global Talent Director from Panasonic took us through a discussion on the BRIC countries and challenges and opportunities they offer.  We closed the day with a collaborative café discussion where the group split to discuss "the balance between global and local approaches to TM" and "HR readiness to serve the new agenda".

After a lively evening of networking day two started with a roundtable theme development discussion along with feedback on the previous day's collaborative sessions.  The Talent Development Director from TJX then took us through an extremely engaging session on Executive Induction.  To close the day off the Head of HR Expansion & International Coordination at Media Saturn took a look at HR and the future which was an excellent discussion to close this year's session.

We look forward to the remaining sessions this year with renewed energy after an overall event score of 93% got us off to the perfect start.
