This iVentiv Executive Knowledge Exchange will focus on the organisation’s most valuable asset – Human Resources. HR has developed into a strategic rather than an administrative function, one that is clear on the link between talented and engaged employees and corporate success. Subsequently, HR as a profession has come under increasing pressure during the current financial crisis.
Arguably, HR has been given the biggest role to play in the recovery from the crisis we find ourselves in. It is HR which has to tackle downsizing, redundancies and job changes to help cut costs and keep the corporation competitive. HR also has to look to the future and plan for corporate talent requirements as businesses begin to recruit and develop new employees for the future.
Amongst this turmoil HR has also refocused on organisational leadership and refined the learning and development offering to ensure appropriate, socially responsible programmes are provided to help employees manage future change.
This two day exchange will allow organisational HR leaders (Group HR Directors & VP’s) to come together for roundtable discussions, debates, benchmarking and peer group knowledge exchanging to help drive efficient HR leadership.
