iEKE Breakout Groups

iVentiv - iEKE Breakout SessioniVentiv - What? The iEKE breakout sessions are designed to be an informal brainstorming and discussion opportunity. The key feature of these sessions is less structure, more relevance. For most breakout sessions a facilitator will start the discussion and stimulate debate. This facilitator will normally put themselves forward for this role via the WikiAgenda. On many occasions the facilitator will begin the discussion by highlighting issues and/or topics which have been suggested or questioned either online, via the WikiAgenda, or during the event.

iVentiv - How?These sessions will be run parallel to open discussion group sessions meaning contributors can enter or leave the breakout session at any point. If you would like to contribute to these sessions you can either suggest topics via the WikiAgenda, or just turn up to the session and add to the discussion.

iVentiv - Why?The breakout session is used to let people express their opinions and feelings openly and can stimulate much discussion. These sessions are designed to draw on the discussions which occur in event hallways all over the world, and which often push topics further than presentation style formats will allow. The open nature of these discussions also enables the participants to voice their opinions to a focussed group and to receive feedback and debate around their areas of focus.
