More on being a Participant

Being a participant at an iVentiv event may involve more responsibilities than traditionally found at other conferences and summits. iVentiv events are designed to build on the collective skills of all participants and to deliver relevant meaningful learning experiences. To do this we need participants to come to the event prepared to contribute to discussions, pose questions and offer solutions where possible.

iVentiv - ParticipateThis input to the event begins when a booking is confirmed. Participants will be able to review the agenda and suggest topics for the open sessions (please refer to event formats), to suggest particular focus for guideline sessions and to offer themselves as facilitators, or as panel members where they feel they have something unique to offer.

Furthermore, pre-event forums will be made available prior to the event to allow the agenda to be fine-tuned. If for example a session is titled ’the role of technology in executive education’ you may find a more focused topic of interest to yourself may be ‘utilising eLearning for distance learning within teams’. Through the online pre-event facility you could propose this topic as a focus area for the session. Your suggestion would then be subject to peer review with popular topics being subject to a vote cast to determine their inclusion.
