More on being a Keynote-Speaker

Keynote speakers are selected to specifically address the topic of the event. Keynote speakers are selected on the basis of complete knowledge and comprehension of the core topic of the event. A keynote speaker is responsible for setting the ‘keynote’ or underlying themes of the event in motion. Keynote speakers are selected due to their broad peer group recognition and respectability. Where relevant, keynote speakers will introduce new concepts, breakthroughs or future directions to the participants.

iVentiv - KeynoteKeynote speakers are responsible for igniting the collective ‘fuses’ of the participants and stimulating debate and discussion. Participants should be introduced to some of the concepts which are to be investigated during the summit and should leave this opening keynote presentation in the ideal mindset for learning to take place.

The presentation style and format adopted by the speaker will be a personal choice. iVentiv requires information prior to the event to clarify the format and style of the session and will make necessary arrangements to accommodate the proposed style where relevant. iVentiv encourages any change in format which moves towards a more inclusive and participatory session.
