The chairman plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of an event. iVentiv chairmen will be respected figures within the key area of the event and capable of speaking with authority on many topics. The chairman is responsible for delivering the opening event introduction to the audience. This introduction will welcome all attendees and seek to clarify and remind the audience why they are attending, what they can expect from the event, and also what they are expected to contribute. The chairman will also be responsible for monitoring the timeliness of the event.
The chairman will ensure the event adheres to iVentiv’s principles of quality, integrity, relevance and value at all times. Should the session diverge from these principles then the chairman will take appropriate measures to bring the session back inline with iVentiv’s high standards. The event chairman will also be responsible for providing continuity summaries before and after each session, these summaries will develop to reflect the cumulative discussion and findings.
