Summit 2.0 Attendees

Summit 2.0 Attendees

iVentiv - Attendees

Event Attendees
There are several different terms utilised to describe the attendees at an iVentiv event, the following is offered as a description of these terms, and to clarify roles and responsibilities.  The term attendees is used to describe all persons attending an event, such as speakers, participants and sponsors.

Participants:
The term participants is used in favour to the term delegates to describe the persons taking part in an iVentiv event.  We use the term participant as a reflection of the structure and design of our events which focuses on interactive learning experiences.  From the first moment participants come in to contact with iVentiv they will be encouraged to play an active role in the event and to contribute to the overall quality of discussion and knowledge sharing which will take place.

Sponsors:
During our event research we often consult with key solution providers within the event's core topics.  At an event a number of these leading solution providers will be invited to become event sponsors.  This screening process ensures sponsors are relevant to the participants, and that their services are of interest.  iVentiv then arranges one to one meetings during the two days of the event between participants and sponsors.  In addition, event sponsors will participate in the event and may deliver workshops, case studies and presentations where appropriate.

Speakers:
iVentiv speakers are experienced practitioners, senior academics and knowledge leaders who have an insightful, ground breaking, or pioneering viewpoint to be shared with an audience.  Frequently our speakers will be drawn from the participant peer group to deliver relevant case studies and practical experiences which are pertinent to the audience.

Keynote Speaker:
iVentiv summits feature a keynote speaker whose role it is to establish the core discussion topics, messages and significant breakthroughs relevant to the event attendees.  Our keynote speakers are recognised authorities within the focus area of the event, and will have experience or insights directly relevant to attendees.

Facilitators:
iVentiv facilitators are knowledge leaders or pioneers who have the correct skill set and knowledge to facilitate sessions.  This facilitation will include, but is not limited to introducing topics, stimulating debate and summarising discussions.  Sessions may have more than one facilitator where this is deemed necessary.
